GradeUp Privacy Policy

GradeUp (“we”, “us”, and “our”) provides tools for students to track grades, semesters, academic goals, and study reminders.

Data we collect

When you create an account, we process your email address and the name you choose to provide. We also process the academic information you enter, including grades, courses, semesters, CGPA, academic goals, and study-streak information.

How we use data

We use this data only to authenticate your account and provide the GradeUp features, including calculating academic progress and synchronising your records between signed-in sessions. We do not sell personal information.

Storage and sharing

Account and academic data are stored with Supabase, our cloud database provider. Data is transmitted using encryption in transit. We do not share data with advertisers.

Notifications

If you enable study reminders, the selected reminder time is stored on your device and used to schedule a local notification. GradeUp does not use that setting to send remote push notifications.

Retention and deletion

You can permanently delete your account from Profile > Delete Account. Deleting your account deletes your profile, academic records, and study-streak data. You can also request account deletion at our account-deletion page.

Your choices

You can sign out at any time. You may disable reminders in the Streaks screen or in your device notification settings.
